I bought this 2 years ago for my then 9 year old daughter. She loved it and rode it everywhere. The only issues I had with it are that she tried to jump a curb with it and popped the back tire. I could not for the life of me get the tire off to change it. The screws would not budge. I finally had to take it to a repair shop to have them change the tire. They sold me a tube they said would be resistant to popping but guess what ... my daughter jumped another curb and it popped again. I haven't gotten around to fixing it because the repair shop is a long way away and the instructions for doing it myself are very complicated. So it has sat in the garage for the last 6 months.
My other issue is there is really no way to lock it up if my kids ride it to the corner store or library. You can lock the front tire but that is easy to take off. So they have only ridden it around the neighborhood or to friends' houses. It does hold a charge for a long time though and would even support my weight although it is very low to the ground for an adult or even a teen. got this after my wife got me the logitech g27. this thing is the best bar-none! everything is sturdy and rigid and there seems to be no issues at all with torque and wobble. i was concerned because i am in the 330lbs range and read that this thing has a 300lb capacity. this thing is rock solid! i did have to adjust the pedal mount so that it was easier to left foot brake.....still am having trouble finding games that support the clutch on the g27..but that is a different story all together. the only issue i had was with the wife harping at me about spending too much time with the PS3 and PC.....but that also is another story....the seat is ultra comfy and everything is very ergonomic after a little bit of finding out where you like everything. i have found myself using this chair by itself when entertaining large groups of friends....i dont mind sitting on it because it is so comfortable. when i purchased this it was eligible for free shipping...so i scooped it up! if you have the cash to drop it is well worth the investment. it makes the gaming experience so much more enjoyable! all they need to do now is add hydrolics to it to make it a REAL simulator! i do wish that there was a way to run the cables inside the tubing, but there are no other compalints from me! i also added the gearshift holder which bolts on with ease...makes it that much nicer! It has plenty of pep and has been running for about an hour on a full charge. We're hoping that run time continues after more battery use. It's been taking around four hours to recharge the battery, which is better than the six hours predicted in the literature. I had read reviews that said the steering was stripping on earlier models. It's apparent that Razor has remedied this problem by redesigning the steering assembly. I don't think it'd be possible for the newly designed steering to strip. We have noticed that the right rear tire (on the drive wheel) has been wearing down fairly rapidly. The unit is quite compact but not particularly uncomfortable for even a ... ehem ... 40-year-old to ride. I was very excited the day this product came in my front porch. The box I got was beat up and scratches, but the truth is inside. The box is very heavy, 74 pounds, the scooter came in wrap and tight nicely, and it took me somewhat 20 minutes to do the assembling. I took the scooter outside, and began the test(I also have a Razor 300), the motor push me and scooter(which both are about 210 pounds) right of the hill and to the street. The 900watts is a nice feature, handling is very intense, but not that harsh. Suspension is great, and it give you a very smooth ride while stand or sit. Trying to hold this above the ground while walking is nearly impossible, it's very heavy and uncomfortable, there are barely any where to hold. This is for 2 young boys. They got it from Santa for Christmas this year. We had a big snow right before Christmas and they were able to use it on the ice and snow with little problems. It got stuck a little bit in the slippery spots, but they were able to get it unstuck without any problem (or help from adults).

The setup of this toy was really easy. We did it in less than 30 minutes. I did not like the back orange rail though. The screw came out within the first few hours.

I was skeptical of this kitchen at 1st. I didn't really want a pink kitchen for my girls, but with the separate free standing fridge, this one seemed the best for the price. It took me 3 hours to put together, and the only time consuming part was the doors and door "hooks" had tiny screws and I was having a hard time getting them to start. Otherwise I think overall this is a sturdy kitchen and adorable! I can't get over how cute it is. The picture of it doesn't do it justice. When I was reading other reviews on how cute it was, I was rolling my eyes, but seriously for someone who doesn't like pink, this is way cute.
My daughter hasn't yet gotten it for Christmas, but I know she will have fun playing with it. You can put water in the sink if you wanted, the knobs click when turned, there is tons of storage, and I really love the fact that there is room to move around it. We have a smaller plastic kitchen, and space on the cooking area seems to be a problem as well as it's so light that when you open a door, it falls over. I know that won't be a problem with this kitchen.
Aesthetically this kitchen is beautiful. I love the classic retro look. I had no problems with alignment of the holes as other reviews have said and payed attention to not screw the handles in too tightly as one person suggested. We didn't buy more dishes, but we bought more food to go along with this kitchen. I give it 4 stars because some of the doors don't close well, drawers fall out easily or get stuck and there is very little counter space. Huge sink but not enough counter space. The dials for the appliances look more like telephone than the appropriate dials, and they make very soft noices. I don't agree with lound toys, but this is REALLY soft. I purchased 2 electric motor scooters, One of them works fine for my son,but the other one for my daughter there has been nothing but problems with the unit. Since day one the reset button keeps going off and she has to constantley reset it. She cant enjoy it,not even for 2 minutes, the razor keeps shutting down, and now its to the point where it will not even go? she has a total of less than 30 minutes off use of her razor. Delivered in two days for the best price on the internet. Cant beat Amazon. Took about 30 minutes to finish assembly. Its mostly put together - just handlebars front wheel and a number plate. Goes for a long time on a charge. My 10 year old is having a blast on it in our very large backyard. So far its been durable after a few weeks of beatings...

The one thing i would say is that it could use a little more oomph off the line. I didnt realize the mx650 is the exact same size but with 30 percent more power for 50 bucks extra. they market it to 16 year olds. A 10 year old is just fine IMO. This bike is GREAT!!! It was a birthday gift for my 10 yr old daughter, and she loves it. It took her about an hour to get used to it and now she is zipping through the streets of the neighborhood. The shipping was good. The bike comes boxed in a plain container so you can not see what it is; in case you have to wait before giving it to the lucky person getting it. I put it togeather by myself, but if you are not that coordinated you may want to get someone to balance it for you while you work. It takes about 20 min to put togeather. Its pretty strong. Once I finished putting it togeather I rode it down the driveway, I'm about 168lbs. Do not be fooled by the size of this bike. For a kid, this thing is fast. Going slow should be stressed until they get the hang of it. Also, the basic concepts of motorcycle riding should be explained to the child before letting them go (looking through turns, keeping your head up, leaning in curves, accelerate in turns etc...). I bought this product because my 2 kids (aged 6 and 7.5) want a "little car". They always wanted a "power wheels" and still do! But I wouldn't buy one then and I'm certainly not going to buy one now.

This product seemed like a good solution - its not as fast as the Razor go-kart - 8mph vs 12 mph. And the idea that it is "off-road entertainment" is very compelling as we have some hard packed dirt paths nearby. I disliked the razor go-kart because it requires the kids to either drive in the street OR in a parking lot which didn't seem super safe, and also seemed like it would get boring sooner. I like the idea that we could take this to many parks and just run around.

I was very curious to see what the owners manual said, and I'm going to share that with you. We all know that owners manuals can be a bit restrictive, but, it does say what it says for a reason.

Keep in mind, I think this is a great product, but I think you deserve the full disclosure! Pros and Cons at the bottom.

1) The first page out of the box says "this product is not a toy... suitable for use only by persons ages 13 and older". WOW!! And all over the Amazon page it says 8 years old. Now I'm sure this is something the lawyers made them add, I bet some 9 year old got hurt. But: use your judgement! (and read #4)
2) The initial charge time is 18 hours. In other words, Christmas eve. Not a biggie, but you aren't supposed to use it "right out of the box" as another review has said.
3) Recharge time: 12 hours. Yes, you are going to get up to 45 minutes of fun - PER DAY. If you are on the fence about electric vs. gas, this might push you to the gas powered model. Extra battery is $55. I'm sorely tempted to buy one before xmas and have both charged because ... I have 2 kids! (I can't afford 2 dune buggies)
4) It **DOES** have a throttle adjustment (which you set with an alan wrench). I am going to do this for Xmas day! I hope it extends the battery life. In other words, I will limit the max speed and let my 7 and a half year old ride it anyway. i think they will be thrilled even at 5 mph, and after they master it I can le them have the full power.
5) Page 4: Vehicle does not run when rolling backwards. This is why a parent has to be around. The brake just stops you temporarily. As soon as you release, you keep rolling backwards. Obviously, brake+accelerate+release brake OR if you are out of power turn the wheel and go sideways until you stop. But this is not going to be obvious to some children.
6) No reverse. This is good and bad for reasons you can guess.
7) Page 5: "If the vehicle runs sluggishly: Driving conditions are too stressful. Use only on solid, flat clean and dry surfaces such as pavement or level ground." To me, this means its not REALLY offroad. I already knew that "dune buggy" was wishful thinking, but its more like a "parking lot buggy" the way this reads...
8) page 5: goes over "overheating". Apparently it has a circuit which limits the max speed ("cuts the power" didn't sound cool enough, I guess) and will even shut the unit completely off if it overheats.

USAGE:
Pros:
1) Accelerator is a thumb paddle. I think this is great! Very easy for children. Very safe. Its proven that your hand can move faster than your foot, and I'm sure that it will be easier for them to regulate the speed.
2) Parents can set the throttle. Very safe.
3) Slows quickly when accelerator is released. Brakes seem "optional" or maybe just for when you start rolling backwards (LOL).
4) Handles minor bumps (1 to 2 inches) with ease. This alone makes it waaay better than the go kart version, IMO... the soft tires help make it a more comfortable bump too.

Dings:
1) Low Power light: It has a light that lights up when battery power is "low". Nice! Cool! But, it would be nice if it had an audible bell tone, and if the manual would tell us if this is 5 minutes, or 3 minutes, or whatever... i really don't think many kids are going to notice this in the middle of having fun. I can already tell I'm going to be carrying this thing back from the hard packed dirt trails around my house - in my truck.
2) Clearance. The ground clearance is pretty bad, its only a couple inches. I don't think this thing has enough torque, and certainly no suspension. So, you are going to stay on the flat and level anyway.

This is such a cool gift. I have a 10 year old, who had a pocket rocket (also by Razor) that after 3 years kind of lost it's coolness. Overall he really likes the go-kart, his hangups are the speed, more leg room, and turning control. He's around 5'1 and 76 pounds and is forced to sit butterfly style, which looks strange. I consider this a starter kart, since there isn't much to it. I really enjoy the red color and haven't noticed the battery life being a problem. I did read that in many reviews. I noticed in the instruction booklet it strongly advises to charge for 18 hours and the box says something like 12.. I went the full 18 and no complaints. Assembling the various models is as easy as playing with regular LEGO and programming is a breeze if you use the visual programming tool that comes with the kit. I, however, prefer using robotC since it gives me much more control and is way more powerful than the visual tool. I got an older version of this almost 30 years ago for my older kids, then 4.5 and just turning 3. It survived them and the two that followed. After all my kids had grown out of it, I gave it to a friend. Big mistake. Within a few weeks they'd trashed it. Apparently the 1/4" pressboard doesn't hold up to being stood upon, nor does it survive rain. Like many in the reviews, we used baskets for all the food and stuff. I'd say it was one of the favorite toys my kids had, both the boys and the girls, and it lasted them for years before they outgrew it. Make no mistake, its BIG.
Our refrigerator had hinges, but not the other doors. My kids did learn they had to be careful with the 'fridge. The oven and sink area doors slid sideways in a track and I think I'd prefer this hinged design because the sliding doors were difficult to operate. I recently got the Lego Eiffel Tower.My mom said i should put this on here so, i'm 10 years old and i finished building the Lego Eiffel Tower in 1 day. The easiest section to build is the 2nd one. The 2nd and 3rd sections are pretty durable but the 1st section isn't very durable. Never try to take this somewhere by car. Pieces break off and then you lose them. Over all, this set is awesome.
