I was skeptical of this kitchen at 1st. I didn't really want a pink kitchen for my girls, but with the separate free standing fridge, this one seemed the best for the price. It took me 3 hours to put together, and the only time consuming part was the doors and door "hooks" had tiny screws and I was having a hard time getting them to start. Otherwise I think overall this is a sturdy kitchen and adorable! I can't get over how cute it is. The picture of it doesn't do it justice. When I was reading other reviews on how cute it was, I was rolling my eyes, but seriously for someone who doesn't like pink, this is way cute.
My daughter hasn't yet gotten it for Christmas, but I know she will have fun playing with it. You can put water in the sink if you wanted, the knobs click when turned, there is tons of storage, and I really love the fact that there is room to move around it. We have a smaller plastic kitchen, and space on the cooking area seems to be a problem as well as it's so light that when you open a door, it falls over. I know that won't be a problem with this kitchen.
Aesthetically this kitchen is beautiful. I love the classic retro look. I had no problems with alignment of the holes as other reviews have said and payed attention to not screw the handles in too tightly as one person suggested. Overall this kitchen beat my expectations. Buy Kidkraft Retro Kitchen Lowest Price, Order Now! [Click Here!]
