I bought this 2 years ago for my then 9 year old daughter. She loved it and rode it everywhere. The only issues I had with it are that she tried to jump a curb with it and popped the back tire. I could not for the life of me get the tire off to change it. The screws would not budge. I finally had to take it to a repair shop to have them change the tire. They sold me a tube they said would be resistant to popping but guess what ... my daughter jumped another curb and it popped again. I haven't gotten around to fixing it because the repair shop is a long way away and the instructions for doing it myself are very complicated. So it has sat in the garage for the last 6 months.
My other issue is there is really no way to lock it up if my kids ride it to the corner store or library. You can lock the front tire but that is easy to take off. So they have only ridden it around the neighborhood or to friends' houses. It does hold a charge for a long time though and would even support my weight although it is very low to the ground for an adult or even a teen.
